Azerbaijan's Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov has met with a delegation led by Türkiye's Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli, who is on a visit to the country, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, APA reports.
During the meeting at the Ministry, Minister Heydarov warmly welcomed the guests and noted that thanks to the joint efforts and political will of the leaders of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdoghan, comprehensive relations between the two countries have reached the highest level and are successfully developing within the framework of strategic alliance.
Kamaladdin Heydarov highlighted the importance of further deepening cooperation between the two agencies in preventing forest fires.
A broad exchange of views took place on matters of mutual interest during the meeting.
