“There is no shortage regarding any medicines,” Minister of Health Teymur Musayev told journalists, APA reports.
According to him, the reduction of some medicines, mainly those in syrup form in the base has nothing to do with Azerbaijan: “As you know, consumers use some base ingredients in medicines. Due to the decrease in those ingredients, medicine output decreased. Over the past week, this issue has been eliminated. Currently, those medicines are brought to the country.”
The minister also noted that in connection with the situation in Ukraine, alternative markets were determined in March by the instruction of the Cabinet of Ministers and medicines brought from there are ensured from alternative markets. There is no shortage in this regard.
