On December 5, the results of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) for 2022 were announced, APA reports.
In last year's PISA study, the main subject was mathematics, and a total of about 700,000 students from 81 countries have took the test.
Singapore, Macao (China), Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong (China) and Japan are in the top five in mathematics results.
Azerbaijan, represented by Baku schools, ranked 56th among 81 countries. Thus, Azerbaijan outperformed Mexico, Brazil, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Albania and North Macedonia.
