New fines will be imposed for non-governmental organizations, including branches and representative offices of foreign non-governmental organizations in the Republic of Azerbaijan, for not providing the supervisory authority with information on grants and donations on time, incompletely or incorrectly, this is reflected in Article 598.8-1, which is proposed to be added to the Code of Administrative Offenses, APA reports.
According to the draft law, officials will be fined from one thousand to one thousand five hundred manats, legal entities will be fined from two thousand five hundred to three thousand manats for failing to submit a detailed annual financial report on grants and donations, as well as their use, to the supervisory body established in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Combating the Legalization of Property Obtained by Crime and the Financing of Terrorism", or for failing to submit it on time, incompletely or incorrectly.
