"Situation in Azerbaijan regarding measles is stable," Executive Director of the Azerbaijani Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB) Vugar Gurbanov told journalists, APA reports.
He noted that the situation is under control.
Vugar Gurbanov noted that the intensive care units are fully ready and the number of beds can be increased if needed.
Vugar Gurbanov added that towards the end of the year, it is planned for the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan to bring vaccines against measles for older age groups as well.
