AZN 800,8 million (as well as AZN 520,9 mln from funds of the state budget, AZN 279,9 mln. from the fund of Mandatory Health Insurance), has currently been spent on fight measures against coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, ongoing in Azerbaijan in 2021, it has been reflected in the report of the Cabinet of Ministers for 2021, APA reports.
AZN 314.1 million of the allocated funds has been spent on the purchase of vaccines, AZN 165.8 mln. on payment of temporary additions to medical workers, AZN 132.9 mln. on the operation of modular hospitals, AZN 115.3 million on the purchase of medicines, medical supplies, equipment, and other goods and services, AZN 46.1 million on the purchase of COVID-19 tests (reagents), AZN 20.8 million on insurance the operation of full-fledged medical institutions operating on the principle of self-financing, AZN 5.0 mln. has been used to pay for the services provided to the quarantined institutions, and AZN 0.8 million used to fight against pandemics in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
