“Today, at around 7 o'clock humanitarian cargo full of food belonging to the Russian Red Cross Society passed through the block post of the Russian peacekeepers temporarily deployed in the territory of Azerbaijan. A truck full of food has already arrived in Khankandi. The cargo is currently being unloaded to the proper warehouse,” Jeyhun Mirzayev, general secretary of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society told APA.
“We will have an opportunity to talk with the Russian Red Cross employees in detail after they return and detailed information will be given. Our cargo is here for now. We will let you know if there is any news. As for further humanitarian aid, we have already mentioned that we do not know the local situation there, we have no information about the needs of the residents of Armenian origin. In other words, planning is carried out after appropriate evaluation and we as a society can organize our work according to that planning. Needs must be identified first. Steps should be taken according to the directions after identifying the needs,” the general secretary of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society said.
