Azerbaijan, Jordan discuss partnership in urban planning

On July 28, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Anar Guliyev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Azerbaijan, Omar Barakat al-Nahar, the Committee told APA.

During the meeting, a wide exchange of views was held on the potential opportunities of the countries in the fields of urban planning, construction, and settlement, and attention was drawn to the importance of establishing relations between relevant agencies. It was also noted that projects in accordance with modern and humane urban planning standards are currently being successfully implemented in Baku and other districts, including in the territories liberated from occupation.

The large-scale reconstruction efforts carried out in Karabakh and East Zangezur were highly appreciated by the ambassador, who particularly emphasized that, along with the return of people to their native lands, extensive opportunities have been created to ensure their comfortable and safe living conditions.
