The Armenian population living in Karabakh has announced that they will accept the food aid sent by the Russian Red Cross Society via the Aghdam-Khankandi route, APA reports.
The cargo will be delivered via the Aghdam-Asgeran road.
Note that, in accordance with the joint cooperation memorandum between the Azerbaijani Red Crescent Society and the Russian Red Cross Society, based on the initiative of the Russian government, on September 9th, in compliance with the relevant legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, at around 14:30, a total of one truckload of food and non-food items, provided by the Russian Red Cross Society to meet the needs of Armenian residents living in the Karabakh Economic Region, passed through the Samur border crossing into Azerbaijani territory. The shipment is destined for Khankandi city via the Aghdam-Asgeran route.
