A citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Agasyan Vera Varashakovna, an Armenian-origin born in 1954, passed away on October 20 between 9-10 a.m. at her residence in Khankandi, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Health told APA.
According to the Ministry, a forensic medical examination has been ordered in connection with her death. Preliminary findings from the examination revealed that the 70-year-old woman's death was caused by acute pulmonary and heart failure due to pulmonary artery thrombosis. Agasyan Vera Varashakovna had received medical attention from specialists of the Ministry of Health and was also provided with necessary social support.
