Sleet to fall in Baku, snow in regions - WARNING

A warning has been issued on worsening weather condition in the country, National Hydrometeorological Service told APA.

Changeable weather condition is expected in Baku and Absheron peninsula from December 23 to morning of December 25, intermittent rain will fall, it will intensify in some places. Rainfall will probably become sleet in suburban areas from night of December 24 until morning of December 25. Speed of northwest wind will reach 15-18 m/s, in some places 20-25 m/s.

Changeable weather condition is expected in regions of Azerbaijan December 23 to morning of December 25, intermittent rain will fall, it will snow in mountainous areas and foothills, snow will be intensive in different places. Speed of west wind will reach 15-20 m/s, 23-28 m/s in some places. Roads may be icy in mountainous regions.
