A 7-day holiday in Azerbaijan begins today, APA reports.
The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to modify the dates of working and non-working days.
To ensure consistency of work and non-working days, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a decision changing June 27 and 30, 2023 working days and June 24 and 25 non-working days, respectively.
Thus, June 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 are considered non-working days. At the same time, July 1 and 2 fall on Saturday-Sunday.
The first working day after the holiday is July 3.
Notably, June 26 is Armed Forces Day, and June 28 and 29 are Eid al-Adha.
