The 6th Caspian Business Forum, themed “Along the Middle Corridor: Connectivity, Finance and Energy”, was held in New York under the auspices of the Caspian Policy Center, APA reports.
Afghan Nifti, Director of the Caspian Policy Center, delivering an opening speech said that the development observed in the Caspian region over the past two months is remarkable. He said that this progress includes the long-awaited peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, advances in the development of the Middle Corridor, attracting various global donors, and increasing the level of investment.
Then Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, read President Ilham Aliyev’s address to forum participants.
The event continued with panel discussions and a Q&A session.
