Houses being built for families, whose houses became dangerous for use after landslip in Gullutepe village of Masalli

New houses are being built for 11 families evacuated from the landslip zone in Gullutepe village of Masalli region, head of Gullutepe municipality Alihuseyn Alinagiyev told APA’s south bureau. He said that all conditions would be created for the residents in the houses. The houses are being built by the order and at the expenditure of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Alinagiyev said that 1ha territory had been allotted from the municipality’s reserve fund for 11 families evacuated in March. Following geodesy and exploration works it was decided to build houses in that territory.
The head of the municipality said landslip still continued in Gullutepe. The coverage of the disaster zone may extend in future. Heavy rains damaged 5 more houses. Though there are cracks in those houses, they are not considered dangerous for use.
Head of the municipality said 10 of 11 evacuated families were temporarily living with their relatives, 1 in a social facility. They are paid AZN 50 a month.
Landslip was recorded in Gullutepe village in March this year.
