On June 25, the leadership of the Ministry of Defense visited the Central Clinical Hospital on the occasion of 26 June – Armed Forces Day and the 108th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Army, the Ministry of Defense told APA.
Within the visit, floral arrangements were first laid at the monument of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev and deep respect and reverence were paid to the memory of the Great Leader.
Subsequently, the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with the Hospital’s medical staff and servicemen undergoing treatment, inquiring closely about their health conditions and the progress of their medical care.
The Ministry’s leadership wished the servicemen a speedy recovery and an early return to their respective duty units. Subsequently, holiday gifts were presented to the personnel in recognition of the occasion.
The leadership highly appreciated the professional medical staff of the Hospital for their effective efforts in the examination, treatment, and rehabilitation of servicemen.
The Minister of Defense also issued relevant instructions to responsible officials aimed at further enhancing the quality of medical services provided to military personnel.
The Hospital’s staff and servicemen undergoing treatment expressed their profound gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev and the leadership of the Ministry of Defense for the excellent conditions established at the institution, as well as for the attention and care extended to them.
