Azerbaijan to announce a contest for financing youth projects next year

Baku. Kamala Guliyev-APA. We will announce a competition for the financing of projects suggested by youth organizations, said Fuad Babayev, Officer of Azerbaijanâ€™s Ministry of Youth and Sports.
He added that there are more than 250 youth organizations in the country and more than 170 have official registration.
He noted that young people account for 2.6 million of the population in the country.
According to him, young people, including children and teenagers make up 67% of the population.
He underlined that AZN 2 million has been allocated to finance about 50 projects as part of the youth policy.
