Cabinet of Ministers holds meeting under the chairmanship of Abid Sharifov on the accident-condition building in Old City

Director of the Old City historical reverse Kamran Imanov told APA that the officials of Old City historical reverse, Ministry of Emergency Situations and other relevant organizations attended the meeting. They discussed the decision made on the results of inspection of the building on November 19. â€œThe Government decided to resettle the residents from that building. There are other alternatives and we will discuss them with the residents. The building will not be removed and an accident-condition wall will be repairedâ€. Imanov said the Government would pay compensation to the resident for their temporary housing.
Residents of accident-condition building in Old City evacuated, the Old City historical reverse officials told APA. Five families were evacuated from the building and temporarily settled down in the Arizona Hotel.
