Event held on visa regime between Azerbaijan and European Union

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. Public Union â€œSocial economic Studies Centerâ€ held an event on the outcomes of the project â€œVisa regime between Azerbaijan and European Union countries: research, raising awareness of people, preparing proposals for its simplificationâ€, APA reports. Chairman of the public union, head of the project Rufat Efendiyev spoke about the difficulties in establishing relations with EU member statesâ€™ diplomatic offices in Azerbaijan. He said that receiving answer from the embassies in connection with visa caused the delay of the final report of the project. Founder of the public union Natig Huseynov said within the framework of the project they had clarified investigation of visa regime between the EU countries and Azerbaijan and necessary procedural rules. The prepared proposals were submitted to the related sides.
â€œInternet forum was organized in order to find answers to the importance questions. Official appeal was made to 11 embassies of EU member states and EU Delegation in Azerbaijan. The officials of only Polish, German and Italian embassies answered the questions,â€ he said.
