Ganja residents, mainly women and children held a protest action in the railway station, APA’s local bureau reports. Women and children blocked the way of Ganja-Baku train and the train was delayed for 10 minutes.
The police prevented the action.
The protesters said that they were obliged to take this step since their drinking water problem has not been solved for three years.
“We have no water for three years, we mainly face difficulties in summer. Our appeals are ignored. If we have water we will block the way of other trains as well,” they said.
The representatives of related bodies said that they give water to these buildings, but due to some technical problems water can not reach these buildings.
“The residents living in the opposite building use water too much. We will take corresponding measures to solve the problem,” they said. /APA/
