“Azerbaijani Emergencies Ministry has prepared an action plan to clean up the Kyur river delta,†Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov was quoted by the APA as saying. According to the minister, the river delta will be cleaned from silt by the end of the year.
“The teams of the Civil Defense Troops and State Water Rescue Service are on the sites of the Kyur river that present danger. The danger will be prevented on time,†he stressed.
Minister Heydarov also said that three helicopters, four motor-launches, 20 rescue cars and other new equipment will be brought to the country. Moreover, about 10 rescue stations will be set up on the coast of the Caspian Sea. The construction of the Emergencies Ministry’s hospital will be over. /APA/
