Chairman of the regional emergency commission Elman Ramazanov told APA that according to the latest reports, 485 buildings collapsed, 6464 buildings were seriously damaged and 204 social facilities fractured as a result of the quake occurred in the region.
Ramazanov said the examination is still continued and the list of damaged facilities is expected to rise. The forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations settled 3910 families in the tents in quake-affected villages.
The companies involved in construction-restoration work have already arrived in the region and brought necessary construction materials.
