Azerbaijan and Estonia draft cooperation contract on pension coverage between

Baku â€“ APA-Economics. Chairman of Azerbaijan State Protection Fund Salim Muslumov has received Estonian delegation.

According to Fund, the visit will last until May 5 and aims to develop the current relations between SSPF and Estonian relevant organization deepen the cooperation in social protection.

Muslumov informed about reforms in Azerbaijanâ€™s insurance-pension system and noted that, one of the main directions of reforms continued on the basis of â€œState Program on development of insurance-pension in Azerbaijan during 2009-2015â€ was to take every measure for providence of recognition of pension and other social insurance rights of citizens acting in foreign countries as labour migrants. Therefore, itâ€™s important to sign bilateral contracts. Thatâ€™s why, SSPF has extended the direct collaboration links and within the International Social Security Association (ISSA).

He noted that, application of 10 contracts signed with other countries was continued successfully. Besides, our country takes every measure for providence of recognition of pension and other social insurance rights of citizens acting in foreign countries as labour migrants.
