Head of state appreciated the 28th regional conference and noted that this conference would play an important role in development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and UN FAO.
President Ilham Aliyev noted that, he was sure that the conference would be held successfully and support recognition of Azerbaijan.
Director General of UN Food and Agriculture Organization José Graziano da Silva also appreciated the conference. He noted that, one of the main purposes of the event was determination of priorities on development of agriculture. He noted that, the ministers would discuss the issues on food safety in the round table.
He also congratulated head of the state for membership of Azerbaijan to UN Security Council.
