Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. Member of Azerbaijani parliament handed over the lost child to his family. Parliamentarian Nazim Mammadov, who handed over the 8-year-old lost child to his family, told APA. He said his relative Shalala Maharramova found a weak crying boy in the bus stop near “8-ci kilometer” bazaar.
“My relative brought Khayal Akramov to Nizami district police. They did not accept the child. Later they appealed to 102 service of Interior Ministry. They did not receive the child either. After that she appealed to me. I took the child to “Umid yeri” society,” he said.

Mammadov said after that he appealed to the TV channels to make announcement about him, but they refused to do it.
“We knew that the child was from Shaki. So, I appealed to Shaki regional TV channel. The child’s relatives were found after announcement was made on the TV channel,” he said.

Nazim Mammadov said the child’s parents came from Ashagi Kuncut village of Shaki to Baku to work.
“They are renting house here and do heavy work. The boy’s father appealed to Yasamal district police office. All police offices were informed about it, but 24th police department of Nizami district police office ignored it,” he said.

Nazim Mammadov said he had handed over the boy to his parents.
“We invited them to Yasamal district police office. We checked their documents and handed over the child to them. I simply did not understand the ignorance of the police and TV channels,” he said.
