Azerbaijani president allocates AZN 1.8M to religious communities

Baku – APA. Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order granting financial assistance to religious communities in the country.

An amount of 1.8 million manats from the 2016 Presidential Reserve Fund has been allocated to the Caucasian Muslims Office (AZN 1 million), the Archbishop of Baku and Azerbaijan of the Russian Orthodox Church (AZN 250,000), the Community of Mountain Jews in Baku, (AZN 250,000), the Baku Community of European Jews (AZN 100,000), the Apostolic Prefecture of the Roman Catholic Church in the Republic of Azerbaijan (AZN 100,000), and the Alban-Udi Christian Community (AZN 100,000).
