Baku. Farid Mirzayev – APA. Armenian aggression is aimed not only against the Azerbaijani state, but also its moral values and places of warship, Gunduz Ismayilov, deputy chairman of the State Committee of Azerbaijan for Work with Religious Organizations told reporters on Tuesday.
He was commenting on the information of Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry that a mosque in the Ahmadaghali village came under Armenian shelling during worship, as a result of which one civilian died and the mosque was seriously damaged.
The mosques destroyed as a result of the Armenian attacks in early April will be overhauled in a short time, Ismayilov added.
He noted that Armenians have always misused mosques in the occupied Azerbaijani lands.
