State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations wants facilitation of bringing of religious books to Azerbaijan

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. The State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations intends to propose the facilitation of bringing “Quran†and the other holy books to the country, said Committee Chairman Elshad Isgandarov, APA reports.
He said that there are problems now in the bringing of holy books to the country: “I consider that it would be better to facilitate this process and we will make proposals on itâ€.
Isgandarov also said that a special permission is being given to the shops engaged in the sale of religious books: “Such permissions have been given to 25 shops in Baku now. The monitoring will be conducted for the purpose of control over the sales of religious books in various places, including metro entrances and the other objects after the end of these worksâ€.
