Parvin Abbasov â€“ APA. â€œWe must educate Islam instead of arming itâ€, said Chairman of the Caucasian Muslim Board Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh in his speech at the final ceremony of â€œModel of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation â€“ 2012 International Education Programâ€, APA reports.

Pashazadeh also commented on appointment of new chairman to the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations. He said that the new chairman was also related to Islam: â€œIt gladdens me. Once when I was Sheikh my age was less. I was concealing my age when somebody asked it. Though I was 30, I said that I was 35-40. I am hopeful for the Elshad Isgandarovâ€™s activityâ€.
