Caucasian Muslim Boardâ€™s Chairman to participate in Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions

Baku. Parvin Abbasov â€“ APA. The delegation led by Caucasian Muslim Boardâ€™s (CMB) Chairman Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh will leave for Kazakhstan on May 29. The CMBâ€™s press service told APA that the visit aims to participate in the Congress of leaders of world and traditional religions, which will be held on May 30-31.

The Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions will take place on May 30-31, 2012. XI session of the Secretariat of the Congress will be held on May 28-29, 2012.
The subject Â«Peace and accord as a choice of humankindÂ» was chosen as the main theme of IV Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. The Congress will be held in building "Palace of Peace and Reconciliation". The religious leaders and heads of the international organizations will participate in the event.
The following four theme frameworks were specified for the working sessions:
â€“ Â«The Role of Religious Leaders in Achieving Sustainable DevelopmentÂ»;
â€“ Â«Religion and MulticulturalismÂ»;
â€“ Â«Religion and the Woman: Spiritual Values and Contemporary ChallengesÂ»;
â€“ Â«Religion and the YouthÂ».
