Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA. Religious situation in Azerbaijan is very stable. The Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Associations Hidayat Orujov says from the beginning of the year 8 religious communities were registered in the country.

â€˜Two of them - the non-Islamic, the rest - Islamic religious communities."

Orujov noted the presence of religious tolerance in Azerbaijan and stressed that the country could serve as a model for other states in this area.
