The next group of Azerbaijani pilgrims leaves for Hajj

26 buses left the square near the Bine trade center in Garadagh district of Baku.

The first group of 18 buses left on October 23. Iranian security forces will accompany the buses till the Iraqi border.

Hajj pilgrims traveling by planes will leave on October 28-31. Five planes have been allocated for this goal.

Azerbaijani pilgrims will travel to Mecca and Medina in accordance with the protocols signed between the Caucasian Muslims Board and Saudi Arabia’s Hajj Ministry.

2000 Azerbaijani Muslims will be on Hajj pilgrimage in 2011.

Bus travel costs AZN 2650, air travel AZN 3750.

Due to the developments in Syria, the route of bus travelers will be changed this year. The buses will head to Saudi Arabia via Iran and Iraq. The pilgrims can visit holy places in Iraq, including Karbala.
