Azerbaijani pilgrims leave for Hajj

18 buses will leave first on October 23 from the square near the Bine trade center in Garadagh district of Baku.

26 buses will leave on October 24.

Hajj pilgrims traveling by planes will leave on October 28-31. Five planes were allocated for this goal.

Azerbaijani pilgrims will travel to Mecca and Medina in accordance with the protocols signed between the Caucasian Muslims Board and Saudi Arabia’s Hajj Ministry.

2000 Azerbaijani Muslims will be on Hajj pilgrimage in 2011.

Bus travel will cost AZN 2650, air travel AZN 3750.

Due to the developments in Syria, the route of bus travelers will be changed this year. The buses will head to Saudi Arabia via Iran and Iraq. The pilgrims can visit holy places in Iraq, including Karbala.
