Azerbaijanâ€™s President receives head of Turkeyâ€™s Religious Affairs Directorate

The Head of State emphasized that friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are â€˜successfully developing in all fieldsâ€™.
The President said Azerbaijan hosted various international events on religious and spiritual values, including the 1st World Summit of Religious Leaders in Baku, expressing significance of â€œsuch eventsâ€ in terms of expanding cooperation.

President Ilham Aliyev said the visit of the head of Turkeyâ€™s Religious Affairs Directorate Mehmet Gormez to Azerbaijan will make a contribution to further strengthening ties in this field.

Mehmet Gormez said five years had passed since his last visit to Baku, adding he â€œis witnessing huge development in the countryâ€.
