“Islam is peaceful religion, which forms dignity of the people. Associating terrorism with Islam is an attempt to defame the religion. We need to form correct attitude of the young people to the religion. We are planning to organize courses of basis of Islam at the Moscow State Linguistic Universityâ€.
Deputy Chairman of the Caucasian Islamic Board Sabir Hasanli said the way of right understanding Islam passes through the education. “Norway faced with terrorist attack and enemies of Islam immediately reported that the attack was committed by Islamist. There are some troubled issues and people can avoid it only through the religious educationâ€.
Speaking about the threats of terrorism, Sabir Hasanli said this problem is characteristic for all countries. “Even developed countries, like US, Norway, also face with such problems. Azerbaijan achieved a progress in the struggle against the terrorism in the past ten yearsâ€.
