As of March 1, Georgia’s foreign debt and government loan liabilities totaled $1.687,275 billion, including $548,389,000 owed to 15 creditor nations, Austria ($1.994m), Azerbaijan ($14.527m), Turkmenistan ($39.581m), Turkey ($50.596m), Iran ($11.418m), Russia ($138.170m), the U.S. ($41.359m), Armenia ($17.660m), Uzbekistan ($390,000), Ukraine ($356,000), Kazakhstan ($27.774m), Germany ($142.082m), Japan ($43.596m), Kuwait ($14.527m) and Netherlands ($4.359m), the country’s Finance Ministry told the APA bureau. The country’s net foreign debt made $1,670,746. Georgia also owes $1.122,357bn to international financial institutions (IMF loans $225.333m, WB-$971,757,000, IFAD-$9.964m, EBRD-19.241m).
