Session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States Conference to be held in Baku

The 20th session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States will begin its work in Baku on June 22, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA.

The session, which will bring together parliamentary delegations from more than 40 countries, over 10 parliamentary speakers, and representatives of 10 international organizations, will feature discussions on the theme of “Promoting sustainable and inclusive economic development in OIC member states through parliamentary cooperation.” More than 400 delegates are expected to participate in the event.

Within the framework of the event, meetings of the General Committee, Executive Committee, Association of Secretaries General, as well as the committees on Political Affairs and International Relations, Economic Affairs and Environment, Legal and Cultural Affairs, Dialogue of Civilizations and Religions, Human Rights, Women and Family Affairs, and other structures of the organization will be held. Participants will also express their positions on the documents included in the agenda.

The session will conclude on June 25.
