In January-September of the current year, products and services worth AZN 2,278.2 million were produced and provided in the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector in Azerbaijan and an increase of 1% compared to the corresponding period of 2023 was observed, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
According to the report, during the reporting period, the volume of products produced in the water supply, waste treatment and processing sector amounted to AZN 461.9 million, which means an increase of 9.1% compared to the year.
It should be recalled that last year in the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector, products and services worth AZN 3,065 million were produced and provided in Azerbaijan, an increase of 0.6% was observed compared to the indicator of 2022.
In 2023, the volume of products produced in the water supply, waste treatment and processing sector amounted to AZN 585.6 million, which means an increase of 15.5% compared to the year.
