Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloghlu – APA. Chairman of Azerbaijan’s National Television and Radio Council (NTRC) Nushiravan Maharramli on Wednesday clarified the issue related to the frequency of ANS TV channel the license of which has recently been revoked.
He said that this issue can also be considered after the court passes a decision on the appeal filed by ANS TV channel.
Commenting on reports suggesting that the frequency of ANS TV channel will be transmitted to Gunesh TV channel, Maharramli said that this issue is not on the agenda.
“ANS TV frequency has no relation to that of Gunesh TV channel. However, the issue of frequency can be considered,” he said.
It’s not planned to open a new TV channel, Maharramli added.
