New transport route from Aghdam to Kalbajar taking shape - VIDEO

A 33.8-km road extending from the 9th kilometer of the Sugovushan–Kalbajar highway towards Aghdara and Aghdam is being constructed in accordance with technical categories I, II and III, the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads said, APA-Economics reports.

As part of the project, 4 bridges and 56 culverts are being constructed. Currently, 76 vehicles and pieces of machinery and a workforce of 75 people are operating at the site.

With the implementation of the project, a unified road connection from Aghdam towards Aghdara and Kalbajar will be formed. The new road route will serve to strengthen transport links in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur and create new connections as part of the Great Return.
