US President Donald Trump has stressed the importance of maintaining good relations with the leaders of nuclear-armed states, APA reports.
The US President made the remarks at a rally in the state of Ohio.
Trump said he had been asked why he was so friendly with Chinese President Xi Jinping, who paid a state visit to the United States on September 23-25.
“Isn’t it great to get along with the leaders of great countries, huge nuclear powers? Isn’t it great to have good relations?” Trump asked.
He also said he maintains good relations with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
