Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman stated that trade negotiations between India and the United States have reached a "plateau", APA reports.
Speaking at the Munich Leaders Meeting, Sitharaman described the ongoing discussions as a "hard and rigorously negotiated" process, saying that "beyond this plateau, giving or taking more for a trade deal will be very very difficult" for either nation.
"But maybe if there are room, if there are rooms to operate from, both sides could do it," she added.
