"The framework of cooperation between the European Union and Azerbaijan is very broad. It covers a number of issues, from the development of human capital to the efficient management of water resources," Peter Michalko, the ambassador of the European Union to Azerbaijan said, APA-Economics reports.
He said that the report "Transitioning to Efficient Water Sector Institutions and Programs for Addressing Water Security Challenges" and Azerbaijan Rapid Technical Assistance Facility (AZTAF) was financed by the EU: "The EU is proud to support these initiatives."
The ambassador added that the EU will continue to help in the effective management of water resources in Azerbaijan.
