"Number of economic regions in the Republic has been raised to 14," said Prime Minister Ali Asadov, who submits a report on activity of the Cabinet of Ministers for 2021, at today's meeting of Azerbaijani Parliament, APA reports.
According to PM, funds of AZN 2.2 bln., allocated from budget for renovation and reconstruction of liberated territories last year, have almost been fully spent: "The same amount is considered in the state budget for the current year for these purposes. Social infrastructure projects in the liberated territories give an important impetus to development of the region. Zangazur Corridor is Azerbaijan's both historical achievement and a great political victory. Practical measures have been taken for realization of the Zangazur Corridor and they are underway."
