Azerbaijan and Qatar to sign agreement on cooperation in the field of ICT, telecommunications and postal service

Baku. Aynur Veliyeva - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan and Qatar are negotiating on the signing of an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of ICT, telecommunications and mail service, said Azerbaijanâ€™s Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies.
The ministry said Qatarâ€™s newly appointed ambassador to Azerbaijan expressed his countryâ€™s interest in cooperation in the field of ICT, telecommunications and postal service during the meeting with Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov.
The Ambassador also underlined the importance of expansion of cooperation in the fields of communications and information technology for both countries.
He also expressed the intention of Qatarâ€™s minister to travel to Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan, in turn, takes interest in learning Qatarâ€™s know-how and potential and awaits the visit of the Qatari delegation to prepare a draft intergovernmental agreement.
Moreover, Qatar shows interest to invest in the ICT sector of Azerbaijan.
