Delta Telecom awarded ISO 9001:2000 certificate

Baku. Aynur â€“ Veliyeva â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Delta Telecom, a fast growing service provider in the Caucasus region, has announced that certification audit was successfully completed by Global Group and the company was issued an ISO 9001:2000 certificate which is effective by September 18, 2011.
An ISO 9001:2000 certificate proves that the Quality Management System has been certified against a best practice standard and found compliant.
The certificate is only awarded to companies that can demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable requirements, placing customer satisfaction as a key component of those requirements.
Delta Telecom is the leading telecom operator in the region. The company provides professional telecommunication and communication services on the basis of the license 001514 given on December 30, 2005 by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Republic. Delta telecom owns the largest Internet backbone network in the region.
