Elcell introduces online payments

Baku. Aynur Veliyeva â€“ APA-Economics. On March 17, 2009, Wireless Internet Service Datacell LLC l (Elcel) has launched an online payment service for its customers in cooperation with the payment processing company AzeriCard. From now on, subscribers can make payments for Elcell services at their own convenience during 24 hours a day from any computer and from any place.

Payment transactions are processed at the processing center of Azericard, where all major international cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Mastercard Cirrus Maestro, Visa Electron are accepted. The security of using payment cards over the Internet is guaranteed in accordance with international standards and meets widely accepted 3D Secure standard.

Being the forerunners in development of Internet payment systems, AzeriCard and Elcell have made a significant advancement in the development of e-commerce in Azerbaijan.

Elcell services are based on the latest wireless data communication technology HC-SDMA iBurst (High Capacity Spatial Division Multiple Access, IEEE 802.20).
The HC-SDMA provides wide-area broadband wireless data-connectivity for fixed, portable and mobile computing devices and appliances.
iBurst is commercially available in 14 countries and presently is the most advanced technology for Mobile Broadband Data Transmission.
