Ukraineâ€™s Utel subscribers use roaming service through Azerfon

Baku. Aynur Veliyeva - APA-Economics. Ukraineâ€™s Utel has started providing its subscribers with international roaming services through Azerbaijanâ€™s Azerfon (Nar Mobile).

Utel (Ukrtelecom) subscribers can now enjoy the roaming service in Azerbaijan by selecting Azerfonâ€™s network or by switching the phone to automatic network selection mode.

AZERFON (Nar Mobile trade mark) was licensed â„– 001512 by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Republic in December, 2005 to provide mobile services throughout the territory of Azerbaijan. AZERFON Company launched its commercial activities in 21st of March, 2007 under brand name Nar Mobile. The trademark Nar was created as a symbol of the relationship between Azerbaijanâ€™s rich cultural heritage and modern life. The network coverage of Nar Mobile reaches 80% of territory of Azerbaijan Republic. Currently, over 1000 000 of subscribers use the network of Nar Mobile.
