Baku to host BarCamp Caspian â€“ 2009

Baku. Aynur Veliyeva - APA-Economics. The BarCamp Caspian â€“ 2009 International Conference will take place in Baku from March 27-29, highlighting the Internet, information technology and advanced media sectors as the key areas of focus.
In addition to Azeri specialists, representatives from 20 countries, including Germany, Italy, Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Central Asia and Baltic States are expected to join the event.
Delta Telecom, a fastest growing service provider in the Caucasus region, is the platinum sponsor for the conference which is also supported by HP, Norwayâ€™s Opera Software and Azerbaijanâ€™s Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies.
Officials from IT giants like Google, Yandex search engines, Germanyâ€™s Sevenload video site, Wordpress, Creative Commons and other will also attend the event.
The conference will hold a variety of presentations on the latest Internet technologies, innovations and projects, as well as the future of the Internet. The conference will be held at Kavkaz University.
