Baku. Aynur Valiyeva – APA-Economics. Russian operator Synterra and Azerbaijan’s Azertelecom announced that Sietse Lettinga has been appointed CEO of their joint venture C-Ring Telecom. Lettinga replaced acting CEO (Chief Executive Officer)Chagdash Berksan. Lettinga earlier worked as a vice-president at iBasis, responsible for sales in Europe.
S. Letting was wise-president of iBasis company. He was born on March 17, 1966 in Netherlands. In 1992, he was awarded a Master in Business Administration HTS Leeuwarden.
The assignment about creation of C-Ring Telecom was signed in May 29, 2009, in Baku.
The company intends to collaborate with Turkey, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, India, Armenia and Georgia.
Azertelekom operates since 2008 and founders are Aztelekom" Production Union(15%), Baku Telephone Communications(15%) and Azerfon Company(70%).
