WB mission visits to Azerbaijan

Baku. APA-Economics. The project is implemented in Azerbaijan by the State Service of Real Estate Property Register under Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Real Estate Property under WB’s financial support. The project is financed from the credit of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the amount of $30 mln for the term of 20 years under the lax period of five years. The project will be estimated at $38.57 mln including $8.57 mln allotted by the Azerbaijani government.

The project is composed of four components: provision of more effective services in registration of property rights through improvement of offices of the service of real estate register and installation of automated information systems; support of improvement of the regulation of state property; provision of geodesic basis through electronic cartography during formation of the automated system of property register and cadaster; construction works and coordination of actions in education, development of information technologies/ information management system, policy and legislative development.

The mission will end on March 12.
